A note from Angela Taylor, Sullivan County Trustee:

        "It is an honor to be elected Trustee of Sullivan County. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve in this capacity.  My goal is to provide quality, friendly and professional service to Sullivan County citizens.  If you have questions or concerns, I encourage you to come by or call the office."

Our office is located on the first floor of the Sullivan county Courthouse in Blountville.  When you come in the front entrance, our office will be immediately to your left.  Office is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday except designated federal/state holidays and elections days.

 

Also, December 1, 2022, through February 28, 2022 we will be operating two satellite offices.

About Your County Trustee

Angela Taylor is an elected constitutional office who as Sullivan County Trustee acts in essence as Treasurer or Banker for Sullivan County.  She is responsible for ensuring property taxes are collected; an accurate account of the money received from various sources are accounted for and recorded in an accurate and timely; and additionally, responsible for investing any temporarily idle funds the County man retain.

Angela Taylor was elected as Trustee of Sullivan County in August 2022.  Prior to taking office as Trustee, Angela served Sullivan County for over twenty years.  Her more recent position being as the Executive Assistant to the Sullivan County Mayor and Commission for over fourteen years; and as Manager of the Bloomingdale and Thomas Memorial (Bluff City) Libraries for eight years.  She began her service to Sullivan County in 1999 in the Accounts & Budget office.

Angela is lifelong resident of Sullivan County.  She is of the Christian faith.  She graduated from Sullivan East High School; and Virginia Intermont College earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Paralegal.  Angela has two sons and four grandchildren. Angela is a member of the County Officials Association of Tennessee, Tennessee Trustee Association, and The East Tennessee Trustee's Association.
